'Shrine' first hit the bookshelves in 1983. Its the story of a little deaf-mute girl called Alice. Alice has a vision one day of a lady in white, 'the immaculate conception'.

Soon the site of the visitation becomes a shrine with all the gatherings that take place there. Everyone wants to witness a miracle. The stuff that legends are made of.

But, is all what it seems. Again we have the story of evil taking a grip on reality and the hope that good will eventually overcome. I, however , did not particularly enjoy this tale and started questioning my buying. Am I buying because of who it is etc.

My faith returned though following the publication of 'Moon' in 1985. Yes, I am buying it because I want to read it. I'm also lucky enough to have a signed copy of this. When the book was launched a friend of mine bought it in a bookstore in London where it was personally signed. A book to treasure!!

'Moon is a story of madness and moon worshipping. It is really quite frightening. Our hero in this story is unfortunate to have psychic abilities which show him, murders taking place. He does not know who the murderer is but the murderer knows who he is and who is close to him.

An edge of your seat story.

'Domain' follows this story as previously described and we move on to my all time personal favourite 'The Magic Cottage'.
